The Gimpel sugar beet variety is intended for cultivation in conditions requiring high resistance to specific pathogens. The crop demonstrates the ability to maintain a high sugar yield even in regions prone to the risk of infection with Sugar Beet Rooting syndrome.
The plant possesses complex resistance to rhizomania, cercospora leaf spot, and SBR. During independent trials, it was recorded that under certain conditions, the variety may exhibit susceptibility to the pathogen causing blackleg or rhizoctonia root rot.
