The Lucata variety belongs to the sugar beet crop and was mentioned in German descriptive variety lists in 2007, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Currently, the variety is not among the active entries in modern lists of recommended varieties.

Plant protection publications noted that the variety does not possess tolerance to Rhizoctonia root rot, although in 2004 field trials it exhibited low susceptibility to this disease compared to a number of other varieties. A detailed morphological description and quality indicators are absent from available sources.
