The sugar beet hybrid Maroon belongs to the normal-sugar NZ type. It possesses high tolerance to rhizomania, Rhizoctonia, nematodes, and resistance to hydric stress, and is also distinguished by early development of the leaf apparatus and good leaf health.
The table beet hybrid Maroon F1 is early or very early. Its root crop has a round shape, a dark burgundy color without white rings, and the weight of the fruit varies from 200 to 300 g.
