The sugar beet variety «Nomo» was featured in agricultural trials conducted in the 1970s. The main agronomic feature of the variety was its resistance to bolting when sown in late March, which allowed for a minimal number of bolting plants.
Within the framework of scientific research, the variety was used for comparative analysis of yield and quality indicators, as well as for studying the influence of agrotechnical methods, including sowing dates and seed preparation methods. A detailed description of the morphological characteristics of the plant is absent in the publications.
