The variety is multigerm and is often used as a benchmark for comparing the yield potential and quality indicators of sugar beet. In agronomic studies, the variety was evaluated considering different harvest dates, ranging from 180 to 210 days after sowing.

The variety is characterized by susceptibility to Cercospora leaf spot, caused by the fungus Cercospora beticola. In addition, this crop is used in scientific work related to the study of the rhizomania virus, known as beet necrotic yellow vein virus.
