The variety belongs to the diploid type and is an industrial crop. Its implementation into practice allowed for the elimination of labor-intensive manual thinning of crops, which is characteristic of multigerm varieties. In the late 1980s, the variety was widely used in agricultural production over significant areas.
In agronomic research, the variety served as an object for studying the physicochemical properties of root crops, including rheological parameters and tissue elastic modulus necessary for optimizing mechanized harvesting. Experiments were also conducted on the influence of pre-sowing seed treatment and physical factors on germination.
The variety is sensitive to the formation of soil crust during seed germination. At present, it is not an active commercial offering, as it has been superseded by modern hybrids with complex disease resistance.
