The sugar beet hybrid Prometei is a triploid variety obtained as a result of collaborative breeding work by specialists at the Yaltushkivska and Ivanivska experimental stations.

During trials, the average root yield was 58.5 t/ha with a sugar content of 17.2%. The sugar yield was recorded at 91.0 c/ha, which exceeds standard values.
