Rima is a sugar beet hybrid characterized by partial resistance to beet necrotic yellow vein virus (rhizomania). In the scientific community, the variety is used as a control object in experiments evaluating resistance to viral pathogens, where its performance is compared with susceptible and highly resistant lines.

During field trials, the variety demonstrated stable indicators of root yield and sugar output. Detailed morphological descriptions of the plant's appearance or data on the maturity group are absent from available materials.
