The sugar beet hybrid Smart Alamea KWS is a diploid monogerm variety of the sugar Z-type. The plant has a medium height, the leaf blade is characterized by medium intensity of green color, moderate glossiness and rugosity, without anthocyanin coloration. The root crop has a long broadly conical shape and an average weight of about 584.6 g.
The sugar content in the root crops is 19%. The average yield of the crop is recorded at the level of 432.7 c/ha with a sugar harvest of 100.9 c/ha, with maximum values up to 718 c/ha. The variety is intended for industrial use and processing into sugar; no disease infestation was observed in the field conditions of the testing region.
