The sugar beet hybrid Takt is characterized in specialized publications as a genotype with tolerance to the viral disease rhizomania, which allowed it to be used in experimental studies for comparison with susceptible varieties.
In the absence of rhizomania infection, the hybrid showed good yield and quality indicators, including sugar content. Currently, the variety is not represented in the current portfolio of the originator company and is mentioned primarily in European reports and scientific articles from 2002–2007.
