The plant belongs to the species Bidens ferulifolia and is characterized by delicate, highly dissected foliage and numerous yellow capitulum inflorescences. Bush height is usually 15–50 cm, while shoots can reach 90 cm or more, creating a trailing or spreading effect.

The variety is considered drought-tolerant and handles summer heat well. In European climatic conditions, it is more often grown as an annual crop. It is used primarily for planting in hanging baskets, balcony boxes, and for decorating flowering borders.
