Plants of the Renate variety are vigorous-growing crops. They are suitable for cultivation in containers, on trellises, or in the open field in warm climate conditions.

The variety blooms with bracts of various shades, including white and purple, in the period from summer to autumn. In trade, the name is often encountered as part of trade names in the Sandriana series.
