The variety Stéphanie is characterized by more compact dimensions and increased flowering intensity compared to other forms of the species. The plant is an evergreen shrub with opposite leaves and white tubular flowers, the fragrance of which is similar to jasmine.
The plant is used as a pot crop or an ornamental shrub in regions with mild climates, and is also suitable for cut flowers. In cultivation, young plants flower better, so their periodic renewal is recommended. When kept indoors, infestation by whitefly, mealybug, and spider mite is possible.
