The plant is a dense, thick shrub that retains foliage to the base. The oval leaves are silvery-gray or gray-green in color, with the underside of the leaf being white. The flowers are bright yellow, daisy-shaped, and gathered in loose inflorescences.
At maturity, the shrub reaches about 90 cm in height and 120 cm in diameter. The flowering period occurs during the summer months. The plant is characterized by drought tolerance and withstands temperatures down to -5...-10°C, preferring well-drained soils.
