The variety is an upright shrub 60–90 cm tall and up to 120 cm wide. A distinctive feature is the dense arrangement of leaves along the entire length of the stem, which maintains the ornamental appearance of the lower part of the plant.
The oval leaves are covered with a silvery-gray coating, and their underside has a silvery-white hue. From early summer to autumn, the shrub blooms with bright yellow inflorescences resembling daisies.
The plant is drought-tolerant and adapted to saline sea winds, while being demanding of drainage and sensitive to excessive moisture in winter. Winter hardiness is moderate, withstanding temperatures down to -10°C.
