The variety is a compact, dense shrub about 90 cm tall and up to 120 cm wide. The foliage has a distinct silvery-gray color with a white felted coating on the underside. Unlike some other varieties, the plant does not become bare at the bottom and does not accumulate dead leaves in the center of the bush.
The flowering period occurs from June to September, during which golden-yellow capitulum inflorescences are formed. The plant is drought-tolerant after rooting and tolerates sun or partial shade well. It requires well-drained soils, as waterlogging leads to root rot.
The crop is frost-resistant within the range of -5°C...-10°C, and under certain conditions, it withstands up to -15°C; protection from severe frosts is recommended. The variety is resistant to damage by rabbits and deer, and is suitable for use in borders, mass plantings, and container cultivation.
