The variety is intended for industrial processing. The seeds contain a high percentage of erucic acid, which allows them to be used as raw material for the production of biodiesel, biolubricants, polymers, as well as products for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.

The defatted meal of the plant is used as a biofumigant. Due to the glucosinolate-myrosinase system, the meal exhibits high activity against soil pests, including wireworms and root nematodes, and also shows effectiveness against certain fungal diseases and pests of fruit and berry crops.

The crop is distinguished by its adaptability to Mediterranean conditions and stress tolerance. Under experimental conditions, the variety is suitable for cultivation without chemical treatments and irrigation, however, it has a prolonged seed maturation period, which may lead to non-uniformity of the harvest and losses during harvesting.
