The variety is an annual plant intended for food use as a leafy green crop. Externally, the variety is distinguished by a lush rosette of large, heavily ruffled leaves with serrated and wavy edges.
In open field conditions, the plant height is 30–60 cm, and when grown in protected cultivation, it reaches up to 90 cm; stem diameter reaches 1–2 cm. Leaves and stems are edible, and seeds may also be used for oil production.
The variety is adapted to local pedoclimatic conditions and possesses resistance to pathogens.
