Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is intended for rainfed farming conditions and demonstrates good adaptability to arid regions. The growing period is 80–90 days. The plant is photoperiod-sensitive and under long-day conditions accelerates its transition to the flowering phase, which is why autumn sowing is preferred in a number of regions for biomass accumulation.

Seeds contain 34–38% oil. The variety is responsive to nitrogen fertilization and is used as a trap crop for the cruciferous flea beetle. A high concentration of sinigrin provides fumigant properties; the variety has also been considered as a raw material for the production of biodiesel.
