The variety is early-maturing: the period from sowing to baby leaf harvest is 20–25 days, and to technical maturity is 40–55 days. The plant forms a lacy rosette 30–60 cm tall with deeply dissected pinnate leaves, the color of which varies from dark green with red veins to burgundy, becoming more intense in cool temperatures.
The flavor of the tender young leaves is mild, with a slight pungency that intensifies as the plant matures. Mature greens are suitable for culinary processing. The variety is cold-hardy, suitable for cultivation in the open field, in containers, and as microgreens; however, it is prone to bolting in high temperatures and long daylight conditions.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
