The hybrid is the result of breeding work by Syngenta using the innovative SAFECROSS hybridization system. In agronomic studies, it often serves as an object for the study of trait variability or as a standard.
The purpose of the hybrid is cultivation for seeds. During trials, the variety demonstrated stable yield indicators at various seeding rates and sowing dates, while the oil content in the seeds may be lower than in a number of other varieties. Features of its flowering and nectar productivity have also been studied.
