The line was created for the production of Omega-9 functional oils, characterized by a high oleic acid content and a low level of linoleic, linolenic, and saturated fatty acids. The oil possesses high stability during culinary processing and a lack of trans-fatty acid isomers. Simultaneously, development work was conducted under the ProPound program to increase protein content and reduce fiber in rapeseed meal.
The line includes hybrids with various herbicide resistance technologies, including Clearfield and Roundup Ready. Breeding is aimed at ensuring resistance to phoma stem canker and clubroot, resistance to pod shattering, and high yield.
