The variety belonged to the category of "single low" varieties common in the 1980s. By 1986, it began to be massively replaced by "double low" varieties that meet more modern quality requirements.
Scientific studies of that period recorded a high glucosinolate content in the pods of this variety, which was a characteristic feature of that generation's breeding.
