Variety description

10 August 2026

The Rainbow variety appears in scientific literature as one of the rapeseed (canola) genotypes used in experimental work. It is used as an object for studying plant adaptation mechanisms to abiotic stresses, in particular, to the effects of cadmium soil contamination, high salinity levels, and drought conditions.

In the field of biotic factor research, the variety was included in comparative field and laboratory trials to assess resistance to infection by the phoma stem canker pathogen Leptosphaeria maculans. Full production characteristics, such as maturity group or biochemical composition of seeds, are not presented in open sources.
