The hybrid belongs to the restored hybrid type and is characterized by sensitivity to stem elongation during intermediate rates of spring vegetation resumption. Seeds have an average oil content and a high content of glucosinolates.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to phoma stem canker (Rlm3 gene) and low susceptibility to cylindrosporium leaf spot. The variety also has partial resistance to Turnip yellows virus (TuYV).
