The line was obtained via the doubled haploid method using R2000 genetic material for the introgression of the Rfo locus. It functions as a fertility restorer for Ogura cytoplasmic male sterility and is used as a male component in crossing to produce hybrids.

The breeding material possesses resistance to imidazolinone herbicides, which allows for weed control during seed multiplication. The line ensures the production of hybrids with high oleic acid content, low linolenic acid levels, and improved meal nutritional properties. It is characterized by homogeneity and stability of traits over several generations.
