The hybrid possesses high resistance to phoma stem canker, conferred by the presence of the RlmS gene, as well as partial resistance to turnip yellows virus (TuYV). Lower susceptibility to cabbage stem flea beetle larvae is noted compared to a number of competing hybrids.
