The Global variety is a late-maturing rapeseed variety, the breeding of which was conducted in Sweden. In agronomic publications of the 1980s, it is mentioned as a variety with a long growing season.
In the conditions of certain regions, in particular in Saskatchewan, the variety was characterized by insufficient adaptation to the local climate due to late maturation. Detailed data on morphological traits, disease resistance, and product quality are absent from open sources.
