The variety was obtained by crossing the combination Primor/Glumander//Miranda/Bronowski. It belongs to the 'double low' type, which means a reduced content of erucic acid and glucosinolates.
Seed quality is characterized by an oil content in the range of 42–45%, protein content of less than 26%, and glucosinolates of less than 30 µmol/g. The variety was intended for vegetable oil and feed meal production, and it has been used in scientific studies for examining plant nutritional physiology.
