Helypse is a restored winter oilseed rape hybrid of medium-late maturity with a tall plant growth type. The variety possesses rapid establishment, good growth vigor, and resistance to seed shattering. Spring vegetation regeneration is rated as intermediate.
The plant has a good phytosanitary profile with high resistance to Phoma stem canker and low susceptibility to Cylindrosporium leaf spot. Under Verticillium wilt infection conditions, the variety demonstrates a specific reaction. The variety does not possess resistance to herbicides or clubroot.
