Brassica napus var. napus Rapeseed · Agricultural · bred by DEUTSCHE SAAT| Deutsche Saatveredelung AG

also searched as: либраска

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the double-low group. It is intended for the production of rapeseed oil as well as the extraction of animal feed meal. In terms of maturity, Libraska belongs to varieties that ripen somewhat later than a number of similar counterparts.

The plant possesses resistance to phoma stem canker at the level of the Jet Neuf variety. In scientific experiments studying Verticillium wilt, this variety is often used as a control sample due to its susceptibility to this disease.

During its introduction in the late 1980s, the variety demonstrated progressive seed and oil yield indicators compared to the single-zero varieties of that time. In modern practice, it is considered outdated due to the emergence of more productive breeding achievements.
