The variety is a historical breeding achievement and represents a highly homozygous population. Its development process was based on the backcrossing method using Primor, Quinta, and Bronowski lines to transfer zero-erucic and low-glucosinolate traits from spring forms to winter forms.
At the time of its introduction, the variety was characterized by higher oil content and seed yield compared to its predecessors. It also showed a significant level of resistance to blackleg (Phoma lingam), which was an important breeding advantage of the variety within the framework of the product quality improvement program.
