The variety is early-maturing and characterized as tall. Its key feature is high genetic resistance to phoma stem canker (Leptosphaeria maculans), provided by a combination of RLM4 and RLM9 genes with a set of minor genes.
The plant demonstrated high gross yield, exceeding the performance of control varieties of its time. The variety is considered obsolete and does not possess modern characteristics, such as resistance to pod shattering or turnip yellows virus.
