The winter oilseed rape hybrid Wisby belongs to the mid-early maturity group. The plant reaches a height of 160–170 cm and is characterized by rapid autumn development, active branching, and intensive pod formation.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and lodging resistance. High resistance to Phoma and tolerance to Sclerotinia are claimed. The hybrid is characterized by plasticity and is suitable for late sowing dates; seed oil content is 44–47%.
