The variety belongs to the purple sprouting broccoli group and is often positioned as an F1 hybrid. It is intended for cultivation in the autumn-winter period with subsequent harvesting in early spring. The plants possess increased frost resistance and the ability to overwinter under field conditions, and cold exposure has a positive effect on taste quality.

Morphologically, the variety differs from classic Calabrese broccoli by the formation of multiple side shoots instead of a single large central head. The florets have a characteristic purple color, and the stems possess a tender texture. The variety is intended for supply to the fresh market.
