The plant reaches a height of 75 cm and a diameter of up to 80 cm, and has an elongated unbranched stem. The leaves are about 70 cm long, oval in shape, dark green in color, with a medium degree of blistering.

The head (inflorescence) is medium-sized, 20–25 cm in diameter, with a lemon-green hue. It consists of irregularly arranged sub-inflorescences and has an intermediate, more spongy consistency compared to commercial varieties.

The harvest period lasts from October to January. The produce has a specific strong odor during heat treatment.
