The variety is an F1 hybrid of purple sprouting broccoli. The plants are characterized by vigorous growth and high yield, exceeding the performance of open-pollinated varieties. The variety has moderate winter hardiness and robust health.

The growing period of the crop is long; the harvest falls in the spring period after autumn planting and overwintering. The hybrid forms thick and tender asparagus-like spears of an intense purple color, suitable for fresh consumption, steaming, or baking.
