The variety Crucible (breeder code SVBL0300) is a summer crop and in terms of maturity occupies an intermediate position between the Ironman and SV1002BL varieties. The plant heads have a dense dome shape and are distinguished by uniform medium or small-sized beads.

The plant possesses increased resistance to hollow stem formation compared to the Ironman standard, as well as improved heat tolerance, which allows for longer maintenance of product quality while in the field.
