The Emerald City hybrid is characterized by a mid-early maturity group. The plant forms medium dome-shaped heads with fine florets. The presence of long stalks allows this variety to be used for the production of bunched produce.

The variety is adapted to cultivation in cool seasons, demonstrating good adaptability for spring and autumn harvests. A potentially increased content of ascorbic acid in the produce is noted.
