The variety is classified as late-maturing or winter, with harvesting carried out from September to November. The plant is very tall and forms loose heads of conical or round shape. The leaves have a golden-yellow hue, which is more pronounced inside the head, and a slightly blistered surface.
Due to the delicate texture of the heads, the variety is sometimes called buttery cabbage, from which it is permissible to harvest individual leaves over a long period. The variety has high frost resistance, which allows it to be left in the garden during the winter period. It is a non-hybrid variety suitable for saving one's own seeds.
