The plant is distinguished by a voluminous and vigoroushabit. The leaves have a pronounced blistered surface, and their color varies from dark green to grayish-green. The heads possess high density.
The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field during the autumn-winter period. Agricultural practice requires maintaining an interval between plants of 70–80 cm during planting. In Italian conditions, the harvest is traditionally gathered from September to December.
