The variety is recognized as one of the most resistant kohlrabi genotypes to the pathogen Plasmodiophora brassicae based on research results under controlled conditions. The variety is included in the official UPOV guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability as one of the reference varieties for this crop.
