The variety is distinguished by relative resistance to drought, heat, and cracking, and is undemanding to soil conditions. The leaves are tender, which makes the variety suitable for fresh consumption in the autumn-winter period and short-term storage. Due to the fine structure of the leaves, the variety is considered one of the best for sauerkraut production.
