The head has an obtuse-conical shape and dense structure. The outer leaves are large, rounded and thick, dark green in color, with a smooth or slightly blistered surface. The internal core is relatively short and rarely exceeds two-thirds of the height of the head.
The plant is productive and undemanding. Regarding maturity, it belongs to late varieties. Historically, the variety was used in commercial market gardening due to its resistance to deformation and the marketable appearance of the heads.
