The hybrid «Кронос F1» is late-maturing, the period from transplanting to maturity is 140–145 days. The plant is vigorous, compact, with an upright rosette of gray-green leaves and a pronounced waxy coating.
The heads have a white internal structure and a weight from 1.4–2.5 kg to 4–6 kg. The variety possesses high keeping quality, suitable for fresh consumption and sauerkraut production. Exhibits field tolerance to thrips, downy mildew, and Alternaria leaf spot.
Recommended planting density is 25,000 plants per hectare for processing purposes and 30,000–35,000 plants per hectare when grown for long-term storage.
