Cabbage hybrid Sanibel F1 is described in a number of scientific works of the mid-20th century as a form possessing multiple disease resistance.
In the past, this hybrid was used in experimental research related to cabbage product processing technologies, in particular for the production of sauerkraut. Currently, the variety does not have wide distribution in commercial vegetable growing.
