The root has a flat-round shape with white skin on the lower part and a reddish-purple color on the top. The flesh is dense and white. The edible leaves have a taste reminiscent of mustard.
The variety is early, with a growing season of 60–70 days. Sowing is carried out from May to July, and harvesting from June to November. The plant is fast-growing, adapts well to soil types, and requires sufficient moisture when grown.
Used for the preparation of traditional fermented turnip, fresh consumption, and as fodder.
