The variety is characterized by very rapid vegetative development and can be used 6–8 weeks after early sowing; it is also suitable for late sowing until mid-September. The plant forms an intensive taproot system penetrating to a depth of up to 120 cm and dense leaf mass.
The plant possesses winter hardiness and the ability to suppress weeds due to its dense cover. As a forage crop, the variety is distinguished by high sugar content and low nitrate content. As a green manure, it effectively absorbs nitrogen, preventing it from leaching out of the soil.
