The hybrid series includes Kibouhou 65, 80, and 90 versions, which differ in vegetation periods. The plants belong to yellow-hearted types, forming heads with good filling at the base and sides, which is convenient for transportation. The outer leaves of the 80 version have a dark green color, and the inner part of the head is characterized by a bright yellow color that slowly loses its intensity.
The hybrids possess high resistance to clubroot, downy mildew, soft rot, and viral diseases, and also show low susceptibility to calcium deficiency and leaf tipburn. The produce is suitable for fresh market sale, including pre-cut, and industrial processing, in particular for the production of pickles.
