The Treasure Island variety is characterized by a very late maturity. During storage tests of Chinese cabbage, it was revealed that the produce is capable of maintaining high marketability during long-term storage (about 120 days at a temperature of 2.5°C).
During tests, a susceptibility of the variety to internal necrosis (tipburn) and pronounced bolting was noted. Detailed data on plant height, head morphology, and quantitative indicators of resistance are absent in open sources.
